Death by Bikini is the type of book that makes you say WOW! It has so many twists and "no ways" that make you want to keep reading and not put it down. This book is thrilling and deceiving that will make you get so far on the edge of your seat that you’ll fall off. It is adventurous, romantic, thrilling, and comic. Read this book and I promise you, you won’t be disappointed.
What happens when you go out on a beach alone wearing a bikini? Nothing, usually, but something else happens when an unlucky beach- goer ends up dead on the beach. When that happens everything that Aphra Connolly knows, gets turned upside down. This is solved at the end of the book, and you’ll be surprised when you find out all that happens. Make sure you read it cover to cover or you’ll be lost throughout the book.
There are many characters. Aphra Connolly, Adam Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Mr. Connolly, and Hisako are just some of the characters in this book. If you think that you have everything down, most likely you’re wrong, because many characters are not what they seem.
The setting takes place on a nice, quiet island. The Connollys’ own a hotel on a island and the island itself for people trying to get away or hiding from the media. This island usually only has celebrities without the rest of their family. But when Adam Smith comes to the island, Aphra Connolly gets suspicious. Not only do they get few kids, but they get even less kids Aphra’s age. This happens during the summer and lasts a while.
This book was fantastic! If you enjoy adventurous books then you should read this book because it was adventurous and thrilling. It had my adrenaline going. Every time you flip the page it’s a new surprise. No less than a five star book. It has everything that a good book has. At the end of the book there is a huge twist so make sure you’re looking for it. After you read this book you might want to read the next one, because I know I am!
